Baby’s breath

Gypsophila elegans L.

Baby’s breath is an annual summer flower, found in white and different red shades, belonging to the Carnation family (Caryophyllacea). The plants grow 35-50 cm high. Baby’s breath has foreign pollination (insects). The species do not cross, but the colors in "elegance" can. The seed is flat round and 1.5 mm in diameter.
