Thymus vulgaris

Thyme belongs to the Lamiaceaea family and is a perennial crop. It has white or light purple flowers and has foreign pollination. Honey bees are very important to ensure proper pollination of the thyme. The leaves are used as a herb. Thyme established in pure beds, and it is not harvested during the first year. Normally harvested 3-4 years in the same field.
